A Life Imprisoned at Home: Walls Close In
The borders of my home became like a safe space. Now they press in, a constant symbol of my confined existence. Days merge into one another, marked only by the tick of the clock and the gnawing emptiness in my chest. Every noise from outside is a sharp pang of the world beyond.

Surviving on Lockdown
Life as we understand it has drastically shifted. The world beyond our doors is a ghost of its former self. We are now stuck within the walls of our homes, forced to conform to a new lifestyle. The days blend, marked by the rhythm of online meetings, consuming media, and baking. We yearn for the simple pleasures that were once assumed for granted: a hike in the park, a coffee with friends, or even just a talk without a screen separating us.
This new situation has brought challenges, but it has also revealed unexpected strengths within ourselves and our communities. We have learned to be more understanding, more creative, and more appreciative for the mundane things in life. As we navigate this unknown territory, we must remain hopeful that brighter days are near.
Six Feet From Freedom
Life behind bars is a brutal reality. Every day, you face boundaries that feel like an unbreakable barrier. The world outside seems so reachable, yet it's separated by just six feet.
Sometimes, the burden of those bars feels insurmountable. You desire freedom with every fiber of your being. The constant ticking of time serves as a stark reality that you're trapped.
But even in the darkest moments, there's a flicker of hope. A hope that one day, you'll step over those bars and finally be free. That day might seem impossible, but it's a dream worth holding onto.
Chains of Liberty
The allure of freedom can be an enticing force. Yet, paradoxically, it can also lead to restriction. This occurs when the very notion of freedom becomes twisted, transforming into a tool for control and oppression.
Genuine freedom entails not only the absence with external constraints but also the cultivation of internal spirit. When this inner base is lacking, even amidst a society that values freedom, individuals can find themselves trapped within the limitations of their own minds.
Ultimately, the true measure for freedom lies in our ability to liberate ourselves the barriers that limit our potential, both externally and internally.
